Antigone, CYPT's upcomming summer conservatory performance! Auditions open now!

Antigone, a brave and proud young woman, defies Creon, King of Thebes, when she buries the body of her beloved brother who had led a rebellion against the city.
She is brought forward to face her judgement with unshakeable courage in the face of tyranny. Sophocles’ Antigone is a story of tragic beauty, pride and power.
This classic tragedy explores the conflict between fate and destiny on one hand and free will on the other. Which will dominate in the end?

Rehearsals run July 23-August 3 at the Impro Depot, with tech and performances at Lunchbox Theatre August 7-12!
